Unlike side-mounted systems, no precision driving close to the line is required as the RetroTek technology follows the markings automatically. That is less survey operator time and lower fuel costs too. Providing the same level of retroreflective accuracy as handheld devices at normal traffic speeds, we eliminate the need for traffic management, road or lane closures. This includes measurement of the retroreflectivity (mcd/m²/lux) of right longitudinal line and left longitudinal line striping and critical center lane markings, safety warnings and symbols. It also records presence or absence of road pavement markers and day contrast ratios of stripes and markings, as used by ADAS safety warning systems in vehicles.
